With two keen second team players itching to take their chance, we set off for the local derby. It must be said Preston Wanderers were not only a really good team but were also a really good set of lads, not least their left winger who was absolutely superb. We ran our socks off to ensure that despite being down a goal twice, we would be just a converted chance away from starting the season with a point. Thanks to @jonnygough with an absolute piledriver and the heroics of our goalkeeper Marshall, we got just that: a point.. |
